Driving instructions

For those coming from the Southern part of the country

Drive on the main road number six from Lappeenranta and Imatra to Parikkala. The distance from Imatra is about 50 km. You can find us in the village of Joukio, about 7 km to Parikkala municipal centre. If you take a look at our place on the map, you can clearly see the state border protruding towards Finland. When you approach Pistoniementie, you can see on the left side restaurant Laatokan portti and the strait of Joukio. Continue driving for 1 km and turn on left on to Pistoniemientie.

Drive on Pistoniementie about 2 km and you will enter our courtyard, where you can see our white plastered home. We will show you to your cottage.

For those coming from the Northern part of the country

Drive along the road number six through Särkisalmi, passing Parikkala.

The distance from Särkisalmi is about 13 km. You can find us in the village of Joukio, some 6 km after the Parikkala municipal centre. If you take a look at our place on the map, you can clearly see the state border protruding towards Finland. When you approach Pistoniementie, you can see on the right side restaurant Kägöne. Continue driving about 4 km and turn on right on to Pistoniementie.

Drive on Pistoniementie about 2 km and you will enter our courtyard, where you can see our white plastered home. We will show you to your cottage.

Local services

Parikkala municipal centre with its great services is located some 9 km from our place. You can find various stores, banks, restaurants, Alko, pharmacy, local medical centre and the railway station in Parikkala.
